Grass 2026: Wagons big and small cater for all
At Grass 2026, Krone and Strautmann demonstrated forage wagons to suit all customers including smaller farmer spec, high capacity and a machine to suit those in search of sub 25mm chop lengths
Grass 2026, supported by FBD Insurance, is a new, editorial-led silage demonstration event on farm in Kilkenny, taking place on Wednesday 29 April 2026.
Organised by the Irish Farmers Journal, Grass 2026 will showcase machinery demonstrations across mowing, raking, baling and silage harvesting on 40 acres, with live expert commentary guiding visitors through machinery set-up, output and operating costs. Leading manufacturers and dealers will be on-site in an extensive trade village, allowing farmers, contractors, students and machinery enthusiasts to compare the latest kit side by side, ask technical questions and see full systems working in the field.
With strong machinery presence, practical demonstrations and a focus on unbiased, editorial insight, Grass 2026 is Ireland’s must-attend grass machinery day this year.
